Sustaject 250 action mechanism:

Sustaject is androgenic preparation containing a mixture of testosterone ethers. Testosterone is necessarily for testicles formation, prostate gland, seminal vesicles and development of secondary and tertiary sexual characters. It participates in formation of body constitution, sexual behaviors, activates libido and potency, stimulates spermatogenesis, suppresses negative manifestations of male climax. Testosterone is antagonist of female sex hormones estrogens, causes suppression of hypophysis and inhibits the function of mammary gland in women.

Testosterone exerts anabolic action: stimulates protein synthesis , enhances calcium fixation in bones, increases muscular mass, stimulates the formation of erythropoietin in kidneys, increases hemoglobin blood levels.

In Men:

• Postcastration syndrome
• Oligospermia
• Eunuchoidism
• Hypopituitarism
• Impotence
• Symptoms of male menopause
• Androgen deficiency (including Addison's disease, pituitary dwarfism, hypophyseal syndrome);
• Infertility (disruption of spermatogenesis).

In women:

• Osteoporosis (on the background of androgen deficiency);
• Breast cancer
• Ovarian Cancer
• Dysfunctional uterine bleeding hyperestrogenism;
• Uterine fibroid
• Endometriosis
• Syndrome of premenstrual tension
• Conditions associated with menopause (in combination with estrogens);
• For virilization of the external genitalia in various forms of hermaphroditism

The medication must not be used in the following conditions:

• Hypersensitivity to any of the medication ingredients
• Gynecomastia
• Hypercalcemia
• Hypercalciuria
• Heart failure
• Asthenia
• Boys in prepubertal age
• Man of elderly age
• Breast cancer
• Prostate cancer
• Pregnancy
• Breastfeeding

The medication should be used with caution if any of the following conditions apply to you:

• Tendency to bleedings
• Diabetes
• Liver diseases in anamnesis
• Kidney diseases in anamnesis

Sustaject 250 side effect: Like any medication Sustaject 250 may cause certain specific side effects. If a side effect is stated below it will not necessarily occur during the drug's application. However, if you experience any of the Sustaject 250 side effects during the treatment make sure to inform your health care provider. Possible Sustaject 250 side effects may include:

• Endocrine: in women dysmenorrhea, gonatropin secretion suppression, virilism; in man: gynecomastia, priapism, oligospermia, disorders of spermatogenesis
• Sexual function: decreased libido
• Dermatological reactions: acne, male pattern baldness
• Digestive system: nausea, liver dysfunction, liver purpura, hepatic carcinoma, cholestatic jaundice, increasing the activity of hepatic transaminases
• Hemopoietic system: bleedings in patients taking blood thinners
• CNS: headache, anxiety, paresthesia
• Metabolism: high cholesterol blood levels
• Local reactions: inflammation and pain in place of injections
