Propecia action mechanism:

Propcia contains the active ingredient finasteride. Action mechanism is associated with blocking the conversion of testosterone into dihydrotestosterone and lowering the amount of DHT in the organism. DHT is one the important hormones participating in male pattern baldness. By decreasing DHT levels finaseride helps prevent hair growth and regrow hair.
